Families can save money and get expert back-to-school advice during WPTV’s Back to School Expo on Aug. 5

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – WPTV’s Back to School Expo takes place Saturday, Aug. 5 from
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.at The Mall at Wellington Green.
News Channel 5’s School Expo is a one-day event that coincides with Florida’s tax- shoes and
school supplies and not pay the state tax. While shopping, families can connect with public and
private schools, trade schools, universities and education-related companies and services.
As families make their way around the mall they can meet with their favorite WPTV News
anchors and reporters, connect with exhibitors, take in cooking demonstrations, and enjoy local
entertainment and several activities for kids.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office will be providing information on its child ID safety program.
Storm Team 5 Meteorologist Glenn Glazier will present a hurricane safety program with helpful
information for all ages. Parents can talk with experts from health service organizations to help
prepare students for the upcoming school year.
The regional shopping mall is located at 10300 Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, Florida.
