Second Friday of Every Month

Jam out under the Cox Science Center's full-dome planetarium, while the sounds of the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and more merge with dazzling laser light visuals! 

On the second Friday of every month, rock out with a nostalgic throwback to the classic laser light spectacles you know and love. From Daft Punk to Michael Jackson, we’re integrating music from some of the greatest artists of our time with mind-blowing laser-light visuals.

Cost: $11 for members; $13 for non-members (purchase below)

*Warning: Some content within these Laser Shows is rated PG-13. The entrance gate to Dreher Park may be closed on Southern Blvd. Please use the Summit Blvd. entrance*

Please note:

  • Laser show themes change monthly. Advance tickets go on sale on our website one month in advance of the show date and close at 5:00 pm on the day before. 

  • Admission to laser shows only includes a portion of Science Center exhibits. Each show lasts approximately 45-55 minutes. Doors lock 5 minutes after shows start and there is no late admittance. Please be sure to arrive early to ensure seating, which is first come, first serve.

  • Once your purchase goes through, your name will automatically be added to a will-call list. You should receive a confirmation email with your order number. You DO NOT need to print any tickets. Please bring your ID with you on the night of the event to redeem your tickets.

With over 200 million records sold, a shelf full of Grammys, and an army of fans, Taylor Swift is an inspiration for generations. Laser Taylor Swift takes her biggest hits and brings them to life in dazzling laser light. If you can’t score tickets to her concert, Laser Taylor Swift is the next best thing.

8PM | NEW! Laser Foo Fighters: Alternative Rock, Post-Grunge, Hard Rock, however you want to categorize them, the Foo Fighters fill arenas and melt faces. Fronted by Dave Grohl, previously known as the powerhouse drummer for Nirvana, Foo Fighters brilliantly combine melody and punk energy to create their award winning sound. Laser Foo Fighters captures the power and intensity of a concert and pours it on to the dome in spectacular laser light.
