Cancellation Policy

Cox Science Center and Aquarium Refund/Cancellation Policy

• The Cox Science Center and Aquarium reserves the right to cancel a class/event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the program/event non-viable.
• If the Cox Science Center and Aquarium cancels a program/event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
• Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of a program/event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

• If you wish to cancel your registration or apply for a credit to another event, program or week of camp, you can contact our Programs Coordinator at 561-832-2026 or programs@coxsciencecenter.org. 
• There is a $25 non-refundable deposit for one-day camps and a $50 non-refundable deposit for all other camps. This applies to each individual week of all school break camps.  
• Refunds will not be issued for any reason. Registrants will receive a credit that can be applied to future programs.  
• Please be aware payment is due at the time you register for an event. If you have an outstanding balance your spot is subject to cancellation until the previously owed balance is paid in full.

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is due within 14 days of confirming your reservation
• No refunds or credits will be made for no-shows on the day of the visit.
• Final payment must be received by the day of your visit, or reservations are subject to cancellation and your group may not be admitted. No refunds will be guaranteed.
• On the day of your scheduled visit, check-in for your group at the Front Desk under your group/contact name. Additional tickets may be purchased at the group rate, on the day of your scheduled visit, providing space is available.
• If you wish to cancel your registration contact our Programs Coordinator at 561-832-2026 or programs@coxsciencecenter.org. 

• All memberships are non-transferable, non-refundable, and are only valid for one household. 
• Special cases may be accepted under the discretion of the Membership Director, membership@coxsciencecenter.org.
• If at any point in time a member abuses their membership privileges or imposes threatening behavior towards guests, staff, exhibits or property, the Science Center reserves the right to revoke the membership with or without refund.
