Mission to Mars

Mars is 200 times further from Earth than the Moon, but it’s significance is at the forefront of recent expeditions, sci-fi novels and even upcoming blockbuster films. The Red Planet is one of our next frontiers; however, the journey presents challenges to all of us. How can these challenges be overcome in order to pursue this necessary step in our space exploration efforts? Russell Joyner, Fellow at Aerojet Rocketdyne, will discuss this and many other challenges we face to successfully reach across the solar system during this month’s Science on Tap: Mission to Mars.
