Did you know that as one of the top predators of the oceans, sharks play an important role in the food web and help ensure balance in the ocean's ecosystem? Shark Preservation Week promotes the conservation and management of sharks for future generations. Join us for a fun-filled week of shark appreciation at the Science Center!

  • Shark Tooth Labs and Apex Predator Presentations.
  • Shark Tooth Molds and other Ocean-Theme Crafts.
  • "The Science of Sharks" presentation by Hannah Medd on Sunday, July 5 at 1:30pm.
  • Appearances by Professor Clark and Hamilton R Head on Sunday, July 5 from 11am-12pm!
